With built-in, customizable web portal and WebAAA, Colubris Networks supports a full independent web instance on each of the 64 SSID’s in a dual-radio Colubris Mobility Point (MP). Multiple groups – guests, vendors, contractors, and employees coexist on the same wireless LAN while their access policies remain in force and traffic is kept separate. In contrast, our competitors only support basic web auth – not WebAAA with authentication authorization and accounting. In addition, the competitors solution only support guest access on a single SSID, which means they can only support one web instance, compared to the Colubris 128, and Trapeze’s 64. For guest wireless access, the easy-to-use Colubris GuestPass™ application lets lobby and reception Authorized personnel set up user accounts for visitors without any help from IT. Guests get a one-time secure, time-stamped wireless LAN access. Different security levels can be configured for different groups of users based on IT supplied templates.
